Are hot showers safe?

Is it okay to get hot showers? I like it hot. I know hot baths are a no no but curious about showers.

I like it hot enough to basically burn my skin off, I’m just careful to take shorter showers now and make sure the bathroom has air flow so I don’t get too overheated.

I loved hot showers before being pregnant, but I almost fainted from the steam so now I take warm showers lol although I'm pretty positive it was due to lack of water and the steam made it worse. I don't think hot showers would hurt. Although I read you should avoid it... sorry I'm not much of help 😂

hot baths are only a bad thing if they're so hot it's making your skin red

I took hot showers my whole pregnancy. Maybe keep the bathroom door open for air to get in and watch how you feel but I think it’s fine.

I took a hot shower pretty much everyday of my pregnancy and I have a healthy 7 month old so it’s fine!

Unless you feel hot, I think it’s fine. I take hot showers, but the air around me is still cool enough that I don’t overheat.

I always took a hot shower because personally they don't overheat me like sitting in hot water does. I have a healthy 6 month old so I'd say yes.

i don't know anything about showers, but i go to the sauna at least 2x a week, after swimming. both my doctor and midwife said it's fine, since your inner body temperature doesn't rise. i can't really imagine staying under a really hot shower longer then 10 min in an 80 degree (Celsius) sauna, you'd burn your skin...

I like hot showers too.. I’m 29 weeks & I’ve taken one everyday. So I would say they’re pretty safe especially if you’re used to them. But I’m not a doctor so it’s best to get a professional opinion...

For the same reason hot baths aren’t safe neither are hot showers. The only difference is that a shower is directional so you could wash your back hotter than your front for example and you’re not wholly immersed
