crush on my best friend

so i have been friends with a guy since the beginning of this school year and once we became close i realized i liked him. this sounds kinda cheesy but we laugh soo much together. we have had some problems though and weren’t friends for a while because of him doing something kinda fake but he gave me a really sweet apology and i forgave him. now he has a girlfriend though and he just seems like a player to me because of how he acts with girls. idk how to get over him.
