How do you know when you’re ready for a second child?

My LO is 15 months and I’m thinking about a second baby already. I’d love our kiddos to be close in age-ideally less than 3 years apart. My daughter is just the light of my life and I can’t imagine splitting time between two. People say your heart grows so I just needed some reassurance.

I’m also a little nervous about PPD. I wasn’t officially diagnosed, but looking back, I’m pretty sure I had it- or at least the baby blues. Any advice in that area yet?
