I’m a freshman in high school and I got to a private school and me and my friends (I made this year)walked in w/o knowing anyone

I made friends and made 2 close ones. I asked them if they wanted to go to the mall last month and one girl (let’s call her Jenny) said yes and then the other girl (Lilly) said yes. Then Jenny said “oh wait I’m broke” (she actually is her parents give her $200 every 3 months and she used it all) and then Lilly said “oh I am too”

I was FaceTiming Jenny today and she said she’s wanted to hangout with me over break and she wanted all three of us to, but she asked Lilly and Lilly said she wanted to keep me out of this. And apparently this has been going on for MONTHS and I thought we were all equally friends but Lilly doesn’t want me to hang with them but Jenny does. I thought Lilly liked me, but now I realize all year she’s been taking advantage of me (giving her rides home and to sports, stealing stuff from my lunch without me knowing, me buying Starbucks and her drinking almost all of it)

and I’ve been talking to Jenny over the weekend and Lilly is really mad that we’ve been talking and honestly I’m just really hurt right now. Lilly has also been taking my hw and copying it because “she’s to lazy to do her own”

I thought all of this was fine since I thought we were friends but now I realize she was just using me and I’m just so hurt I just need to get this out.
