When to worry

Question

I swear since yesterday my overly active baby has since slowed down on her movements or barely any should I be concern? I lay down and usually it’s a full dance party but last night I had to shake her and only got one or two movements. Fell asleep concerned having bad dreams about my baby dying. Am I over reacting should I call the doc ?

Drink some juice or ice water, see if she moves. If not, give the doc a call. I'm 33 weeks and my son has slowed down a bit too. I think they are running out of room.

Thank you girls so much going to give my doctor a call because she moved 9 times in a hr but I napped and nothing. Her movements are usually so much more and it’s barely anything

Movements change as they run out of room but they shouldnt slow down. I would give your doc a call if you are concerned.  Here in UK the rule is if babies movement is different from your normal then call. You are the one who knows your babies movements best.

The rule at my doctors office is 10 movements in 1 hour. If you aren't getting that I would call! Better safe then sorry.

My doctor’s rule is 6 movements every 2 hours. If you’re worried drink something cold or something that contained sugar like juice and monitor. If there’s still nothing I’d call doc

I feel like my guy slowed down for a bit but then started back at it again..he’s been super active the last 3 days. Try what others have suggested..drink juice or personally I’d try something with caffeine. Then lay down for a bit and see what he does. Call the dr if you don’t get much response.
