Staph infection and pregnant

Staph infection 😭

On top of my other issues, I went back to my OB just now. I now have a staph infection from my groin area. (Underwear too tight and pinched me... Turned into cyst/boil).

Need to get a shot today and take meds all week. If the 1.5 pink circle around the infected spot increases, then I have to go to the hospital right away. I'm super glad I listened to my intuition and went in to bug the doctor again (even though I saw him yesterday for other issues).

Anybody deal with this? What happened? I don't even want to read articles about it in case it freaks me out.
