FMLA rant 😡

Oh my god. It’s been nothing but trouble. First I wasn’t approved for intermittent, only consistent. Which then means it sucks up my sick time when I’m out for weekly appointments. So I’ve been AWOL from work 3 hours a week (my doctor is 1 hour away, we’re moving before the baby comes.) I was told through HR I CAN use my FMLA time for the doctors, but she didn’t tell anyone else, so major miscommunication.

I didn’t want to work until my due date (May 2nd), so I had planned for April 27th being my last day. I only got approved for my due date, and was told the doctor has to approve it. HOWEVER, when I asked them, they said it’s through my employer, not them. I just feel like I’m going in circles for no god damn reason.

I’m so frustrated. Rant over, I’m just grumpy.
