Weird?

I was outside with my 8 month old and the weird neighbor from across the road popped over. He does from time to time. Anyways this time he came.over and asked where my SO was. Asked if he was sleeping or at work. I said sleeping (Which isn't true he is at work) And then guy asked what shift he works. What times. He asked me to "be specific" and asked if it was like 4-8 or something. I lied and said it's shift work so it can change day by day. But he seemed hung on the subject. Like where does he work and what times does he sleep? Idk maybe I'm just paranoid but is this weird?
