Tummy time?

My daughter will be 7 weeks old on Saturday (in 2 days) and we just started tummy time. How often do you all do tummy time and for how long?

we've been working on tummy time on my chest since day one. started on the floor around 3 weeks. when he turned 6 weeks, a week ago, I have started doing 5 min of tummy time for every wake cycle . this is where we are at Now!

We don’t really do it at all. My baby has reflux so it bothers him and he hates it. Instead I hold him up right against my chest and support his head as he pushes himself up and side to side. It’s not ideal but better than nothing.

I do it everyday for about 15 to 20 minutes. I usually lay her on my chest

Everyday usually 2-3 times per day. We have been doing this since day one. So now we usually do it until he starts getting fussy because he has learned to like it. But he didn't at first so we started with 3-5 min. Do it as much as possible. He started rolling from stomach to back consistently between 4-5 weeks, as well as holding his chest off the floor.

We do it as much as possible, we are 7 weeks and I want him to be able to hold head independently ASAP so baby carriers are easier to use as well as getting him in the pool! We do tummy time until I see he is visibly fristrated and that varies completey each time. Sometimes hes into it for a full 5-10 mins, others hes wailing at a min... we always guve him breaks as well so theres time to consolidate and integrate new information about the kinetics of his body afterwards!

I usually lay one of her blankets flat on my husband and I's bed and lay her down on that and i sit or lay next to her and talk to her! And usually for 10-20 minutes at a time!
