Hospital pictures?

I know our hospital offers a photographer to take pictures of your newborn. I didn’t do it with my first because money was super tight but am considering it this time. What have your experiences been with it?

we will be doing newborn pics with our photographer within the first 2 weeks. our hospital is stupidly expensive with their pics and they aren't the best quality.

Not worth it and the photographer we had was pushy. 👎🏻 I made my daughter a blanket and the photographer didn’t want to use it 🙄😡

My good friend is a photographer and will be coming to the hospital the day after my baby’s born to do a “fresh 48 session”. If the hospital’s photographer is stupid expensive, search for photographers around your area that do the fresh 48 sessions. I think they’re totally worth it, and several of my girlfriends have either said they’re glad they did it or wish they did!

My SIL just had a baby and when are having a baby in a couple of months her advise to us was spend the on newborn photos.
