My husband is a turd!

We were invited to a canasta game night a couple weeks ago for today. I told my husband and he complained “I hate canasta. Do I have to go?” He’s not about big groups or anything so I’m usually pretty understanding. This whole week when I bring up the game night he said something like “we’ll see.” Today, we left church early as I was nauseous and didn’t want to puke there. I went to the store to get stuff for tonight’s game night and we headed home. He said he may go to a movie with my best friends hubby. She was going and her husband hates cards too so I told my hubs it was fine. He left for the movie with our friend and I left a little early to get what I forgot at the store and I wanted to find a kimono at Ross. Another friend (my second mom) who was also going, asked me to grab ice on the way as she forgot it and was “running late”. So doing that, I was running late to the game night. I pulled up, and all the cars are parked on the side of the house. None in front... weird I thought. I grabbed my goods and headed into the house. . . SURPRISE! My husband had planned a surprise gender reveal party with my best friends! My estranged grandparents were there, my mom and closest friends. They planned a little game to open gifts that would reveal gender. So we opened all the gifts (my husband knew the gender) and they were all gender neutral. I was confused. Then out came a little gift. It was a tiny pink cupcake pendant. ITS A GIRL! I can’t believe he surprised me! We’re so excited for our little princess! Although, I swore I was having a boy. My husband wanted daddy’s little girl. He got his way first try. 🌸🎀💝
