Someone please help. A week ago today, I had sex with my boyfriend and afterwards when I was cleaning up, it was raw to wipe myself. The next morning, I noticed something felt off about my cooter so I made an appointment and saw the doctor. She took a look and said nothing was there, but had some concern for what looked like genital warts. Days later, my cooter still didn’t feel right so I went to Urgent Care because this was on Sunday and my primary doctor isn’t open on Sunday. The other lady took a look and diagnosed me with BV. She prescribed me with antibiotics and sent me on my way. 2-3 days into the medication, and it’s only gotten worse. I had sex with my boyfriend tonight and my crotch is burning so badly. I need help, what the heck do I do? Isn’t the medication suppose to help? Like I just want this gone 😢 Any remedies or old wives tales to get rid of BV? Or whatever it is I may have at this point...I’m getting so fed up. I’m also suppose to be starting my period tomorrow.

11:20pm UPDATE

I took a test to see if it evolved into a UTI, and the test suggested hints of UTI. I’m taking a shower, cleaning myself off, examining my hoo-ha for any rips or anything out of the ordinary, then I’m gonna look at my rather impressive display of vagina products (I’ve had a history of yeast infections in the past.) And decide what would be best for me to use just to get to sleep comfortably, and I’m calling my doctor first thing in the morning.

11:49pm UPDATE

(This is more so for my own personal record if my doctor asks.) I took a look downstairs, and I noticed a white layering over both labia lips and when actually viewing into the regions, it looks to be like a cut or something just at the entrance. Labia lips are both thick and swollen, however burning has subsided for the most part. Everything is just tender to the touch.

All burning and swollen lips is gone, the cut (So I though) is also mostly gone. I think it was just highly irritated from sex yesterday. I’ve changed my choice, I’m gonna resume the medication and refrain from sex until I’m done and see if it makes any progress.
