19 and getting married. Any advice?! 💞💍

So let me start off by telling you guys a little about myself.

I am 19, turning 20 in July. My fiancé is 23. I'm currently in college for Office Administration, and he is a plumber.

We got engaged recently and have been together for 3 years.

In that time period we have lived together twice. The first time was last year, and it only lasted 3 months. It was awful. We lived far away from all of our friends and family, pretty far from our jobs, and we argued constantly.

It was the first time either of us had moved out. Anyways, we decided to take a break for a month after that. He moved back in with his parents, and I moved with mine.

Well we got back together and everything was going great again. My mom was moving so I asked him if I could stay with him and his parents for a while. He said that was fine, and I moved in a couple of months ago. Everything has been great!! We get along. We rarely argue and when we do, we don't scream at eachother or anything but instead take some time to calm down before we talk things out.

Everything's been going good.

So he proposed to me.. ofcourse I said yes!! 😍

I'm so excited. And nervous. But mainly excited.

So we decided after we get married, we are going to get a house. This is the only reason I'm a bit nervous. The last time it was just us, it was pretty bad. We couldn't seem to get along whatsoever. I'm not sure if it was because neither of us were used to living on our own or what.

Does anyone have any advice? How do you keep a healthy marriage? I need all of the advice I can get! Lol
