Like part of me says, this is literally how he would handle confrontation

In my eyes, he's not denying anything. In some senses, he doesn't want to fight. In other ways, he's just trying to calm me down. In his way of manner, he doesn't like fights. He doesn't like confrontation, he doesn't feed into when i react and it's why we lasted so long, he doesn't fight back. i just also.. i feel like he could've at least apologized and said i'm wrong. I almost feel stupid to ask you guys to practically tell me what to do in an obvious situation but clearly i keep digging cause i don't know when i'm blind until i hit a wall.. and i'm saying "obvious" in the most ironic matter since i, as a mess, don't know when to feel valid and if this is even an issue
