Would you stay with your boyfriend in this situation?

My childhood friend has been with her boyfriend for 2 years, and she always complains to me about it. She’s 21, he’s 28. She finishes her degree this summer and will start her masters in September. He on the other side, only finished highschool and went to college 1 year but didn’t pass. She lives with her parents, doesn’t have a job or any financial source apart from the pocket money her parents give her. He has a full time job in a take away and also lives with his parents. They live around 20 miles from each other in different cities and she often goes to to his town to see him, he barely ever goes to hers. Even then he makes her go out with her car because “his car will consume fuel”?!

He sometimes also complains that she doesn’t pay for his stuff when they go out for a meal or something or would just straight up ask her to pay for him and if she says no he’d throw a tantrum.

She told him many times to go do a chef/cooking course or something because he likes cooking and is already working in a takeaway, so why not try to go higher up in a restaurant or something like that. His response? “Nah it’s not worth it and you’ll be earning enough money for both of us anyway”. Like I know he’s a total piece of crap, I can’t stand him. But that literally annoyed me when she sent me the texts. Like she has no money apart from the money her parents give her, he has a full time job and his parents don’t make him pay for anything, yet he asks her to pay for his stuff and other things?! I don’t know maybe I’m just delusional and I’d drop someone within seconds, but I think she’s bing really dumb.

I had a massive argument with her over this because I’m just sick of her coming and complaining to me all the time yet she won’t leave him 🙄o
