So I miscarried at 11 weeks and had a D&C; at 11+5wks.

I was testing positive still at 3 weeks post D&C; so had a ultrasound which confirmed nothing left behind but a 5.5cm complex ovarian cyst which had grown in less than 3 weeks and bloods showed 9mIU (was hoping that it was a new pregnancy, but no joy)

On the scan report it said endometrium at 11mm and 2 days later I started my period. It’s heavy for me but not unexpected and quite clotty, but more worrying is the smell!

I’m not sure what’s normal after a miscarriage but the smell has tainted my moon cup, I can’t quite describe the smell but it does have a kind of metallic smell to it.

Has anyone else had this after giving birth/ miscarriage?
