What's your stance on immigration officers? x

I visited America last November and the immigration officers came across as quite rude. When I came back to England it was different and they didn't interrogate me or harass me with questions. When I visited France a few months ago it was also easy to pass through the border. What experiences have you had or how do you feel about these officers? Thanks for the input ladies xx

American and Italian are the worst in my opinion.

I think they're supposed to be rude lol I was born in America but now live in Chile and when I went back to visit the officer asked me why we moved to chile and why I'm back. There just weird questions but I answer anyways nicely because I don't want to be sent back 😂

The immigration officers I've met going into America, England, Austria, and South Africa have been mean but I'm sure not all of them are rude, maybe caught them on a bad day. Canada is the only place I've met really nice immigration officers

When I was visiting England the immigration officer had this suspicious look at me. I'm okay with questions like where I've been previously and reasons of my visit. But then he went on asking how I got to know my friends in Europe and why I speak good English (I'm Malaysian and I've been told that I have quite an American accent) I got so upset that I told him because I received formal education and I learn and speak the language since I was a child. It was rather reckless of me because he could have denied my entry but fortunately he didn't say anything and stamped my passport. Phew.
