How long did it take to go back to daily activites after birth. ADVICE NEEDED.!!

I need someones outlook of my situation. For all you ladies that have had more than one child or at least one. How long after you had your baby did you start doing your daily home activities. Such as cleaning, washing dishes, laundry, cooking, sweeping, mopping, ect.

I live with my BIL and his wife. They have a 4 yr old And a 1 mnth old bby. I have a 5 yr old. Since shes had this baby, she doesnt want to clean b/c she says she cant. She stays in her room all day. And leaves her son out in the living room. She doesnt worry about feeding him. So obviously i feed him. I recently started working again. So shes now washing dishes. But if i dont do the sweeping or cleaning the restroom she wont do it. I come home to a not so clean house.

Am i overreacting or is she being lazy? Becuz when i had my son i went back to all normal activities after a week. And mine was a c/s. i would go out with my son and she doesnt want to take her baby out becuz the air is bad for her.
