Rice based formula?

Is anyone using a rice based formula for there LO? my LO is 10weeks old and we have had nothing but trouble with feeding after finding out she is allergic to cows milk protein and lactose intolerant (she breaks out in a rash, excessive diarrhea nappies, very unsetttled, doesnt drink much, also has regurgatation), she will also not tolerate the hyrdolised formulas so we have just switched to a rice based formula (Novalac Allergy)

Was just wandering if anyone has any experience with a formula of this kind and how did your LO go with it ? Or any suggestions on anything else to try if this does not work?

Any stories or advice will be greatly helpful
