What happens during your first doctors visit?

I have my first appointment next week (I’ll be 8 weeks by then). 
I already had my pregnancy confirmed with a urine test from planned parenthood. 
Now I’m going to an actual obgyn. 
I know they will probably do an ultrasound, but what else is going to happen?
Will they draw blood? A pelvic exam?

they will too confirm pregnancy via urine test. they will give an ultrasound. theres a whole lot of papers to fill and questions the doctor asks, such as your family history and your SO's or father of your child. ( any history of heart disease,  diabetes, etc etc etc)
they will take initial weight. blood pressure. 
you will be told when your next visit is and thats about it.
ultrasound will show something like my pic( obviously everyones is different.  this was mine at 8 weeks). they will measure the embryo,  check for heartbeat. and that's about it

remember that every experience is different.  and every office does their own things, their way. so experiences differ

Depends on the drs routine but you’re just gonna confirm with them. More pee, then blood work, and there’s paperwork. Possibly an ultrasound but depends like I said. I didn’t get an ultrasound until 12 weeks, confirmed at 6 weeks

Depends on your doctor but mine did the following:
- transvaginal ultrasound to date the baby & provide due date 
- Pap smear
- STD cervical swab (done at same time as Pap)
- urine sample
They will also schedule your next appointment (around 12 weeks).

I had an ultrasound because I had a previous miscarriage. They asked a million questions to me and my husband. Did a pap and breast exam. Took a ton of blood. And every single appointment they ask for a urine sample! I can never go! So make sure you drink something before hand.

I gave a urine sample, had std testing and a pap (I was overdue for one) and they did a transvaginal ultrasound. I didn’t do blood work until 12w
With my first (at a different OB) I had urine sample, blood work and a pap at my first appointment and  didn’t have an ultrasound until 12w
So it’ll probably depend on who you’re seeing, but you could call and ask them. I asked when the first ultrasound would be when I made my appointment so my fiancé could take off work for it
