PCOS, regulating period/hormones

Erica

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 15 years old. I’ve been on birth control since then till a month or so ago. I feel like as a girl my body should produce a period on its own and I’ve been doing everything to make it happen. I hate how doctors just give girls birth control to mask their symptoms instead of treating the symptoms. I’ve been on metformin ER (1000mg) for a few years and now started taking myo inositol (2000mg) and d chiro inositol (50mg) everyday for at least a couple months . I’m still waiting on my period (cycle day 35) anything else that helps regulate periods/hormones?
