Painful breast lump
I’m 34 years old. I discovered a breast lump about 3 years ago. It would get a little painful just before my period. I was getting worried about it and went to the doctor. I had a core biopsy done and it was the worst experience ever. The area wouldn’t freeze after 4 needles and I could feel everything. The doctor was not compassionate at all. He was actually quite rude. When the sample was taken it felt like a chunk of the inside of my breast was being cut and torn. In the end I was told it is not cancer...thank god! Ever since the biopsy the lump has double in size and it hurts all the time. I get shooting pains down my arm and across my chest. My doctor has now referred me to a surgeon to have it removed because is causing me so much discomfort. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I’ve googled it and can’t find anything. I just want to know what to expect. I’m so nervous. I don’t want an experience like the biopsy again. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
