Tinder: What did I do?

This guy wrote to me first, right after we matched. I asked about his pictures (from all around the world) and in a few messages it came to this:

I'm a bit confused. He was the one asking me out, so why did he ignore me after that? I'm not hurt or anything, he wasn't some match I planned to fall in love with, but I really am confused. He seemed nice and I'd like to go out with him, even just for a drink.

What did I do? Was I too willing?

Do I try to write to him again tomorrow (or the day after), or is this the end before we even got to the hooking up part? Guys keep confusing me lately
