Schizophrenia

I just watched a show on schizophrenia it really opened my eyes to this horrible disease. I'm in tears. My question is, if you knew your child would have schizophrenia would you abort? This is mainly for pro-choicers or people who have dealt with schizophrenia. I want it to be clear, I'm asking because I'm uneducated in the topic and after seeing the show I want help to understand more. I see people say they would abort for Down syndrome and other genetic diseases, just wanted some personal insight. Does this disease compare? The show I watched was on TLC, titled, Born Schizophenic: Jani and Bohdis Journey. So would you abort? Is schizophrenia very different from Down syndrome ect?  Thanks for feedback.
