Is this a good mix of faiths ?

Curious what others think, Thinking of naming our future child that is of our Christian and Muslim faith. Isa is arabic for Jesus. Is that a good name for a mixed faith child ?

I personally wouldn't name my kid any variation of Jesus. Whether his actual name or another name meaning Jesus, God, Messiah, etc.

Honestly it’s going to depend mainly on how both of your faiths see it, and how you both feel about it. Not many people are educated on multiple faiths, so it may be hard to see. 
Now as a name in general, I think it is a beautiful name. I just can’t speak on the faith aspect

I named my son Musa, which is the Arabic equivalent of Moses. I’m taken away by his connection with God, so named my son after him. (Secretly hoping that my son will also have a strong connection with God).

I know Jesus was simply a prophet in Islam, but I personally wouldn’t do it. That’s just me though, and I’m Christian and biased 😂

I’m Muslim too and my husband is catholic , it’s hard finding a name that fits both religions , as a Muslim I think it’s a pretty name but it’s leaning more towards Christianity with it meaning Jesus

I know a very Muslim family with a son named Isa. It's totally fine in Islam as Isa (Jesus) was a beloved prophet and messenger of Allah Subhanahu wa-taʿala.

I like that name. Isa is usually a nickname for Isabella where I live, it's a common name
