Does it bother you when people talk about how big you are?

I’m due the beginning of July and more and more people are talking about how big my tummy is and they can’t believe I have two more months. I didn’t think it would bother me but it’s actually starting to get on my nerves. I think probably because I am plus sized to begin with so it’s more a mental thing. Obviously they aren’t being mean or anything like that!

No, but most people say I am small. I'm 4'11" and 90 lbs, pre pregnancy and only gained 24 lbs with my first baby. I don't mind people calling me big or small, but I got EXTREMELY annoyed with the people saying I was TOO small, like I wasn't properly taking care of my baby despite my doctor being happy with my weight. I'm 18 weeks with my second and already preparing to be annoyed with people.

I’ve told everyone if they have comments to please phrase them like “BABY is getting so big!” because I don’t mind that my baby is healthy and growing, but being told *I’M* getting big makes me feel kind of crappy.

I don’t get upset because I know what they mean, but I still think they shouldn’t say it because many women are sensitive about it.

Yes, I don’t understand how people don’t realize that it’s rude. No, I’m not having twins, and I’m not due tomorrow. I don’t mind when my coworkers or family say things, for the most part. But complete strangers really get to me sometimes, mind your own business.
