GD test

So I got my results back from my OB about my GD test. English is not the first language of the nurse who called me, so it was a little difficult to understand. but basically my fasting BG was high, and after the drink my 1 and 2 hour BG were normal. I'm being referred to a diabetes specialist. I asked if this means I have GD and i think she said no not necessarily, (I had to ask 2x because she didn't understand what I was asking) but the specialist will go over all this and I'm to wait for their call to set up an appointment, which won't be until later this week. Has anyone else had this happen? What was your outcome?
