When will they induce?!

Hi Mama’s!!!!

So today I am 38 weeks 5 days!!! Well this is what I’ve been dealing with:

For the past almost 2 weeks I’ve been itching ALL over like crazy, legit ripping my skin open and this midwife at my OBGYN insisted it was normal.

Last week, I called the 24 hr line and they rushed me for an appointment that day because they knew it wasn’t normal! Well long story short, they believe I have something called cholestasis. It’s something to do with your liver and it only happens in late pregnancy. I showed all the signs for it but the blood work takes about a week to get back.

Well Saturday I went to the hospital because I didn’t feel Nova (my babygirl) move all day. That same midwife was there working that shift. I had a really high blood pressure, and they gave me Benadryl for the itching but of course it didn’t help only makes it worse like I told them! Well nova ends up being perfectly fine she was just sleepy pretty much from the Benadryl I had been taking. But they said if my itching didn’t stop by today they would talk about inducing me!

Well the same midwife seen me again and I wanted to snap. Even Frankie (my boyfriend) is getting aggravated at this point. She prescribed me this anti anxiety medication for the itching because apparently it doubles as it. Well, come to find out it’s the SAME medication that I got addicted to over the summer when my regular doctor gave it to me and when I told them I felt weird and I felt like I NEEDED it they didn’t help so I took myself off it and i got really nasty, went through withdrawals, itched, I drove myself to ecmc psych ward because I felt like a zombi on it! (Luckily my boyfriend stopped me and talked me off the edge). This mid wife didn’t even ask if I would be okay with a medication other than Benadryl she just sent the script to my pharmacy! I’m really pissed about that!!!

Then she tells me nova hasn’t even dropped yet 🤦🏻‍♀️ when TWO other doctors feel her head ON my cervix when they checked I’m pretty sure that means she dropped weeks ago!!! She even said she was low on Saturday night when she was pushing on my pelvis making me want to punch her from how hard she was pushing on my daughters head!!!

Well today she ordered a growth sonogram and a non stress test after my appointment. And that’s where they got the measurements of how big she is! And she wants me to come back Thursday for another growth sonogram and another non stress test? Like how much can change between today and Thursday! She has me so aggravated!!!
