I want him back 😔

So last year I got hit by a car 1st feb and my boyfriend was with me when it happened. He stayed with me through the whole thing I was in hospital til September 26th. He told me countless times he was going to marry me and before my accident had got me a promise ring assuring me we would. About 7 weeks ago he left me because he just doesn’t want to be in a relationship anymore I’m a bit difficult and wanted him at home all the time never going out so he said he wants his social life back and that don’t include me. We split cos we were arguing so I said maybe we should go on a break and that convo ended in him leaving me he said at first it was a long break but now he’s assured me we’re never going to get back together and I just want him back 😭 he is my everything we said to each-other you’re the love of my life a lot before but obvs not. I’m completely heartbroken I just want him back I mean I broke a lot when I got hit by the car but was easier to say what I didn’t break but now I’ve broken my heart too I just don’t know what to do or how to get through this we’re still friends and in contact a lot and I stay at his but I’m not sure if that makes it harder to accept.. 😩
