Apparently this is a known fact amongst the older generation but I’ve recently just discovered this to be true on my own. Of course , ideally we’d want the love to be equally yolked but I’m not sure if that’s even possible. In my last relationships , in the beginning , when it was clear that they loved/cared for me more , it was amazing . The moment my love got more intense & obvious was the moment their fire for me died . You could say that maybe they just weren’t for me & I would agree bc if they were they’d be here, but it’s hard for me to argue with couples who’ve been together for decades & will state this as fact. Not only that, but just seeing how it happens first hand has opened my eyes to view this as fact. My man tells me all the time that he loves me more & that’s okay. And for a while , I felt terrible bc I wanted it to be 50/50 . But my man assured me that it was okay and that it doesn’t take away from the fact that I love him to death & that I treat him like the king he is.
