Is this normal?

I have “childhood friend” i guess you could say. At the time I was like 3 or 4 and and he was like 13 but I still remember him, I use to go to his house all the time. Anyways he slid into my dms but he didn’t recognize me until after I pointed out the fact that I remember him. Anyways after he realized he apologized for trying to get with me. The thing is he is now 24 and I’m 15 and he’s been trying to get my phone number and telling me that if I was older he would have liked me to be his girlfriend...
