Non vegans are animal abusers?

Question

So I've seen this debate a few times before. But I have a question to vegans or vegetarians. Do you believe people who eat meat are supporters or are animal abusers ? 
I would like to know what your thoughts are

Here's a neat little thought. Depending on how inclusive you are with the definition of 'animal' vegans could be considered to be a large contributor to the abuses of human animals. I say that because no one ever seems to think of the inhumane conditions that undocumented workers and migrant workers have to face in order to pick all the fruits and vegetables required by a heavily plant based diet. Very few people also seem to realize the damage done to other countries and cultures when the US 'discovers' a new wonderful 'superfood' like quinoa. What was once a cheap staple of a culture's diet is now a lucrative export, at the cost of it now being too expensive for the locals growing it to eat. Depending on how you shined the light, all of that could be considered abuses heaped onto human beings, which by definition are animals. Not trying to put down anyone. Eat what you like, it's your body you're fueling.

Uh no. I've been a vegan on and off and I never saw non-vegans as animal abusers.

The only animal abusers are the ones who actually abuse the animals. Frankly, eating animals is a part of the circle of life. Animals eat other animals and WE are animals. We weren't meant to be herbivores. Killing and eating an animal for sustenance =/= animal abuse. It's just how we and tons of other carnivores and omnivores are and there's nothing anyone can do to change it.

I am not an animal abuser because I eat meat, do I wish livestock had better conditions hell yes. I do try to buy most of my meat locally. I spoil my pets rotten an animal abuser neglects and treats animals like scum.

I've been a vegetarian (non vegan) for around 15 years now. I find factory farming to be abusive to animals. Ideally I would buy all of my food from small local farms/business's. Who practice ethical treatment. That's not always economically realistic however. What others eat isn't my business. I don't think it makes them animal abusers or bad people in any way.

It depends on where the meat comes from. Apparently it's legal to eat dog in Canada and feed it as beef. I really don't know what to think on how things are killed humanely or inhumanely.

Okay that wouldn't really make any sense. I didn't kill the animal or have anything to do with its death I just eat its meat. Can't really abuse something if it's already dead...
