UK ladies - NHS vs Private Care

Hello my TTC warriors!

We've been trying for baby 2 for a bit a year now. So through our GP we've done

- blood test to check I'm ovulating which I am

- semen analysis for hubby which is good

Then came the 17 week wait for the next part which got me thinking about private care. The way I see it is I have some savings and this is what I want more than a holiday or sofa or anything else that money could go on so I went for it.

There they did

- vaginal utlrasound and everything is fine

- blood test to check hormone levels and everything is fine

Next I'll do doing HSG (flush out) privately and then if we still don't have any luck we'll do IUI.

Anyway , my question is - I've just received the letter for the vaginal ultrasound on the NHS. It got me thinking .. should I cancel the NHS route now or stick to it to double my chances

of help ?

Anyone been in a similar position ?
