Tanning while pregnant?

I’m in a wedding at the beginning of June and I wanted to have somewhat of a tan for it. Are you able to tan while pregnant? Can you spray tan? I would use the tanning lotion but I’m horrible at applying it evenly and it always comes out looking streaky! I’m 9 weeks 5 days right now so I’d be 16 weeks at the wedding.

I would not. You not supposed to do anything that can raise the body temperature.  Like not hot 🛀🏻

they say spray tans are a no go. I've seen pregnant women tanning before but I never asked them if their doctor approved it. I love a good tan but I never did it while I was pregnant. I would say just keep trying the lotions. I would say that's the safest bet for your baby.

Spray tans , no because you can Inhale the chemicals.
Bed tanning 100% NO.

I don’t see why a lotion / mousse would be a problem! But sun beds are a big no no and I’ve heard mixed opinions on spray tans.  The lady who did mine last time was pregnant so I don’t know really as you would imagine she would know if it was dangerous !

I have a lady in my area that does spray tans with organic ingredients that is supposed to be safe while pregnant. Going to speak to my doctor about it as I have a wedding coming up in June as well!

If you are in a well ventilated area a spray tan should be fine. Just don't spray your face. (usually face doesn't get darker, makeup can make it darker if needed) I am currently 8 weeks & my job is a cosmetologist & I have to do spray tans. I just turn the fan on so it pushes the spray out.
