Vasectomy Reversal Questions!! HELP!

So I was a little anxious about posting. & have read basically every forum on here about VR’s. My husband is 32 and I am 24. We have a beautiful daughter and right after she was born he had a vasectomy. I kinda sorta made him get it. I almost lost my daughter during labor and I almost passed away as well. I was terrified about having another child. It’s been 5 years since his vasectomy and we want another baby. He made his appointment for 5/23 but I am sooo anxious. We have no clue how much it would be to reverse it or how long it would take to conceive after. Does anyone have any advice on the cost it was for them and how long it took them to conceive? How quick were they able to.. you know... “Do it?” Did it hurt your husbands more than the vasectomy itself? Healing process? Anything helps him and myself. It just feels like forever until the consult!
