Nipple piercings and breastfeeding how painful?

So my husband wants us to both get our nipples pierced but I’m really scared of the pain and I’m wondering is it anything like the beginning of breastfeeding? I remember how painful that was my nipples chapped, they bled and were sore for a couple of weeks and now when my son bites my nipple it doesn’t hurt as much so do y’all think I can handle that pain??
