I’m going to my ob to see if I’m pregnant (I know I am but they want to test me which is fine) and when I’m done with the test is there any way I can get a check up that day? I had a miscarriage and I just want to make sure everything’s progressing okay

When you make the appointment for the pregnancy test just let them know you want a check up as well.

Check up in what way? I had a Mc and then when I found out I was pregnant again I waited until 8 weeks to even call just to be sure and they rushed and just squeezed me in for an 
“unofficial “ appt and did urine and ultrasound ( because of previous Mc) but didn’t count it as a real 1st appointment ( even though I paid my copay for it 🤷‍♀️) but then I went in the following week for my “official” first appointment and it was pretty much the same thing. They did blood work at 10 weeks and ultrasound at hospital along with them every two weeks until 2nd trimester.

Answer

It depends on your doctor and what you mean by checkup. I won’t have an ultrasound or hear the heartbeat until my 12 weeks appointment.
