Can white ppl lay their edges/baby hairs

Honestly I don’t know if white people r “allowed” to or not. I barely get tho whole cultural appropriation on dreads (I do understand but it took a lot of explaining from ppl and I get it now. Still some questions I have about it but ppl get annoyed real quick so I let it go)

Anyway, is this another cultural appropriation thing or nah?

Personally I have my own opinion on this but I’m sure ppl would attack me before trying to actually understand what I’m saying.
