Epilator?

Question

So I went out and bought an epilator today...
On my legs, it hurts but I can deal with it...
Can I do my bikini area with it? 
Or is that not a good idea?
I can’t shave without razor burn down there.

I use my epilator to finish off my brazilian waxing.  I always miss a couple hairs. I would strongly advise using it as more of a touch-up/maintenance tool for down there, because diving into a bush (even a trimmed one) is too much. 
But I can tell you it actually hurts leas than your ankles! I won't do my legs with my epilator. Hurts too much.
