Is that iud really that bad??

There’s a viral post on Facebook about how it messed with a woman so much. Long story short now she can’t have kids and is having to have her toes amputated. Now everyone’s sharing it and saying how they’d never be on birth control because it messes with your body and I’m just like 😑

I had an IUD in for 5 years. I have since been pregnanct twice and both times miscarried..both my sisters had IUDs as well. One had 2 mcs as well.. the other is having major fertility issues.. so.. We have a feeling it might have been because of the IUDs.

There can be serious complications from the IUD. Just like there can be serious complications from the pill. There can also be serious complications from pregnancy!

I have a Paragard IUD and have had it in 6 years so far with no issues, it’s non hormonal.

I had paragard and not long after, my lower back started hurting so bad that I just got it removed. Like it was to the point I could barely move, turns out it was infected. Been about a week and the pain is slowly fading away! 
Every body is different tho :)

I had an Iud for 3 years and conceived my son after it was out within 3 months I got it again and then it fell out during sex after having it in for 2 years, since I have had 3 miscarriages and it's been 5 years since it came out! But also a new partner since my son has been 1 so I'm not sure if it's my s.o or myself

I’ve heard too many bad situations with the iud that I don’t even consider it as an option for me. I’ve heard it’s different for everyone but it’s not something I’m willing to test out on my own body.

Is that iud really that bad??
