Nails done w newborn?

I'm 36 weeks and I was going to make an appointment for a manicure and pedicure, and my husband thinks I shouldn't get my nails done because it'll be in the way when I have the baby? Thoughts? Lol

What is his reasoning? Get your nails done now because it might be a while before you can treat yourself again. I wouldn’t go for acrylics, but a manicure and pedicure sound really nice!

This is such a cultural thing, my friend had a baby and his mom was all freaked out at me holding the baby because my nails should be completely trimmed down or its not safe in her opinion. I have 4 kids and I've never once scratched my kids,  as long as the edges are smooth it's fine.

I wouldn’t get acrylic because you can scratch the baby and bacteria loves to hide in the crevices. But a manicure should be fine

I say get it done, girl!! and do the top mani pedi options! get your arms and legs/feet rubbed and relax before your baby gets here!!
