Oral sex prolonging pregnancy?!

Ugh! I just recently learned that saliva kills sperm. Does this mean that my husband can't go down on me while we are ttc? That is something we both really enjoy and always puts us both in the mood--and to beat all, we have been ttc for 4 months now while doing this almost every time. Have we seriously been doing this all wrong?! So frustrated now.

I actually did a bit of research on this today! It turns out that saliva and TTC are a no no! Not for him or for me. Ugh! This is our favorite part! My doctor said either way that saliva is involved --sperm is being destroyed. Just FYI! Hope it helps.

What I've read says not to use saliva as lube, but doesn't mention anything about oral sex.

I say test the theory. Don't do oral for a while and see what happens. Just a thought. I've never had an issue but who knows.
