I lasered my pubic hair off and never looked back. I'm not sure but I don't think my husband would have gone down on me if I had ever let it grow out. But in return he does trim and keep himself neat. Maybe you both can comprise? He can't force you to do something you don't want with your body, but he has to be comfortable too 🤷🏾 I dunno

Hubby decided to go on a shaving strike- no problem, I know it’s a pain in the ass.
However, I’ve coincidentally gone on an oral strike. He doesn’t have to shave,  but I also don’t have to suck lol.

The fuck? You are way too controlling. My husband likes me shaved. I slack a lot. Sometimes I do and sometimes I won't for weeks. He doesn't care. I don't like when he shaves. I'm cool with a trim, but having it bare? No thank you. That shit is weird AF to me. If he ultimately wanted to be bare downstairs, I'd be cool with it. It's his damn body, not mine.
