11 years old, at night while I was walking the one block I had to walk to get home from a friend’s rental house during a vacation. It was scary to me, because I didn’t know the person, nor did I know the city well enough to go home a different way. I speed-walked home and called my parents to get me the next night instead of being alone for a single block 😶
