Binge Cravings

Guys. I’ve been doing so good with my dieting and exercising and lost a bunch of weight. But I’m a huge binge eater. Is there anything I can do to stop the hinges and cravings? Right now I’m at work and I’m starving so I want nothing more than to leave and go get unhealthy food when I get off. It’s like a battle in my head. What can I do to stop these thoughts and cravings

Food prep is key! I’m trying to lose weight too. I’ve been really proud of the commitment I’ve made so far. I work at a pizza place, so I’m around temptation all the time. But as long as I come to work with a yummy lunch prepared and some filling snacks, I don’t cheat. I spend a lot of time cooking and prepping food, but it’s really been the key to my success. And trust me, I have always struggled with binge eating and my weight.

Unfortunately fast food is SO easy to get to. I had this issue the other day. I was on my way to work and I’m trying to lose weight but needed to go grocery shopping and was SO hungry. So I said “ill just stop on my way to work, one day won’t hurt”. Then I remembered a subway that was just a little further away so I had that instead. Yes it’s still “fast food” but I LOVE veggies and am a picky meat eater, so it was a MUCH healthier choice. I would say try to find some healthier quick options so that when you are tempted you don’t ruin the whole days work. Also, allow small cheat meals. Get yourself full of healthy stuff then have a small fast food snack (if u must!) this way u are already mostly full from the good foods so don’t have as much room for the bad foods yet still satisfying the craving. Then just reduce the amount of junk u eat each time and soon u won’t miss it.
