Worried about my ex...

So I saw my ex’s BFF(she’s a girl so she’s my good friend as well) at a party last night. I gave her his hoodie to give back to him, and we talked.

Essentially she said she felt we’d both been idolizing each other and not God(we’re all Christians). And he’d been going through some personal stuff and he didn’t want me to see him like that. And he’s just not in a good place. She said he didn’t even want to break up with me, and he’s been off ever since.

He won’t talk to her about it. And even when they do talk, he’s super weird and depressing. and he’s barely been sleeping, and not eating as much-which is a HUGE red flag for him- and wanting to check up on me. He’s been liking ALL of my Facebook updates and stalking my Snapchat story all weekend. She said he’s worried about me since he knows he broke my heart.

Personally, I’m not ready to bridge that gap and reach out to him. He was my first bf-I was in love with him- so for me, it’s too hard to be the first one to talk.... I just hope he’s okay... idk what to do or how to help him without putting myself in a situation that would hurt both of us...
