Period late by 17 days?!?

So I had my first period on the 23rd of March. Now it's the 8th and my period should've come somewhere 2weeks ago because it's monthly right? I'm virgin so I can't be pregnant. Any ideas why it's so late?

before birth control, my periods were irregular. i was a virgin and i would either have 2 week long periods or not have one for 3-4 months at a time. i would suggest using birth control if you are able to to regulate your periods! it has helped me so much.

stress,  your weight,  any kind of medicatioms could mess it up,  there's actually alot that could happen

I used to have really irregular periods when I was a teenager. I would skip months often. It could be stress.
