Best lotion for stretch marks?

Let me hear your answers please!!! I just bought palmers coacoa butters it’s like a balm...But when I got home I discovered that palmers made something specifically that says “stretch marks” on the bottle the one I bought dosent ...think there’s a huge difference or am I ok with what I bought?

More important than what you put on your skin is what you put IN your body - staying hydrated is your best bet against stretch marks. I use an oil after I shower in addition to my extra water intake.

Whether or not you get stretch marks is largely genetic and special lotion won't help. But moisturizing the skin as it stretches feels nice!

Strech marks are a genetic thing as per say, although just keeping hydrated and moisturised is what should prevent them more. I am currently 27 weeks with my second and so far so good. Ive never used any fancy stretch mark creams just a normal moisturiser and drank plenty throughout the pregnancys 😊

I use Burt’s bees mama butter. I drink a lot of water and still got stretch marks. I actually found that just good old lubriderm on my belly feels much better than the Burt’s bees butter. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I didn’t get any stretch marks with my daughter and I mixed a concoction of coconut oil, vitamin e lotion, and palmers cocoa butter formula. I also made sure I was very well hydrated. I do believe that my lotion concoction helped but I think it’s best to work from the inside, out!

My pregnancy hormones HATED the smell of Palmers. It was one of the only things that made me nauseous. I used Burts Bees Belly Butter and Bio Oil. I hear that stretch marks have a lot to do with genetics though. I didn't get any but my mom didn't either. The bio oil seemed to help best with itchy skin from stretching.
