Any tips on how to relieve gas and constipation? i also have lots of swelling in my legs and feet.

Its day four in the hospital now, and I've been taking stool softeners laxatives. However nothing seems to help! I had a c section , and along with that hemorrhaging of the uterus. I'm in lots of pain and aby advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You in advance ladies.

Kinda late to the party but this might help some c section moms. Compression socks for swelling. Coffee for poop. I drank a huge cup of coffee the night I was cleared for real food and the next day I pooped. It surprised the Dr when he came to check in, he assumed I still wasn't able to poop. For gas, if you feel comfortable, I found if I put my head all the way down and the foot of the bed all the way up it helped get some gas out. I've never had a more satisfying fart.
