Single advice

I am single and I have been for a while. I am looking for a girl but I have no clue where to look or what to do. I'm really tired of hearing "you need to love yourself before you can love someone else" bc I know I love myself inside and out and I have a fair amount of self confidence. The other thing is people keep saying the right person will come along, but I'm tired of waiting for someone to plop in my lap. The other thing that makes I it hard is I am attracted to alot of people but I don't see them as a potential s.o.
